We support the Tuscany Trail because we share the same spirit of adventure and absolute independence for every bike enthusiast. Emotion, travel, discovery are part of the soul of Selle San Marco, and we love to support these values through our products, designed specifically to maximize the experience of bikepacking. An example is the Supercomfort saddle collection, designed with Xsilite rails and extra padding in Biofoam and gel inserts to support every gravel and bikepacking ride.
Also designed thinking of comfort is the Presa Corsa Comfort handlebar tape, providing unparalleled softness and grip for cyclists on longer endurance rides. And just so they're never left alone on multi-day trips, we've also come up with a series of practical and functional Bikepacking Bags that can be placed under the saddle, on the frame, or on the handlebars. They are made in various sizes, but all with the same Italian quality: 100% waterproof, tear-resistant, safe and lightweight. Perfect for exploring the world together.
Le origini di Tuscany Trail
It's not a race, it's not a route, it's not competitiveness or competition. Rather, it's an adventure and an experience, unusual for sure, but certainly exciting and beautiful. Born in 2007, today the Tuscany Trail is the world's largest bikepacking event and proudly takes place in beautiful Tuscany, Italy, every year. Attracting thousands of enthusiasts from over 50 different countries, it boasts the highest number of participants in a single bikepacking event: 4700. It spans 470 km with an elevation gain of approximately 6500 meters through enchanted forests and millennia-old historic centers. No support staff, no time limit for arrival: everyone is alone with their own bike. In the Tuscany Trail, you can challenge yourself or take it easy. In either case, you will experience a thousand emotions.
